I want to see children digging, climbing, and making dens alongside nature. Children should be able to put a hand on a piece of wood without fear of arsenic toxicity or play with a toy that doesn’t contaminate little hands, Like oil-based plastics. I want to see children creating wildlife habitats and learning from them. Wildflowers are not ‘weeds’. They are habitats. Don’t allow contractors to kill them; treasure them and use them as a resource. Nature will thank you for it.”

We are actively encouraging schools and nurseries to inform governors that glyphosate weed killers are no longer welcome where children play. We also encourage our members to implement food-growing projects; vegetable beds, fruiting plants, and orchards. Creating wildflower borders around the school is beneficial to wildlife and children!.
